None. QR Scanner does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or usage data. The app makes no network requests of its own.
Codes you scan and QR codes you create are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. They are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting an item in the History tab, or deleting the app, removes that data permanently.
QR Scanner asks for camera access solely to detect QR codes and barcodes in real time as you point the camera at them. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device and are never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
If you choose to scan a code from a picture, iOS shows you a photo picker and shares only the single image you select. If you choose to save a QR code you created, the app asks for permission to add that one image to your photo library. QR Scanner cannot browse or read your photo library on its own.
When you tap a scanned web link, phone number, or email address, iOS hands it to the appropriate app (Safari, Phone, Mail). At that point, the privacy policy of that app and destination applies. QR Scanner itself never contacts those destinations.
QR Scanner contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, no analytics tools, and no tracking of any kind.
QR Scanner is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
